You are volunteering for DGN STAFF HOLIDAY BUFFET

Date: Dec 07, 2018   (Start Time: 8:00 am  /  End Time: 4:00 pm)

The Parent Club hosts a Holiday Buffet for teachers and ALL staff (approximately 350 people) in the library (11am-3:30 pm.) We are looking for volunteers to make this event special for the people that make DGN a dynamic place for our students to grow!

There are 3 ways to help if interested! (See the categories in the sign-up list)

1) donate a FOOD item,

2) donate your TIME to decorate or staff the event, or

3) make a monetary DONATION that would supplement our budget for decorations, beverages, and paper goods.  Monetary donations can be made through Paypal on our dgnpc.org website.

IN THE "NOTE" SECTION PLEASE TYPE WHAT YOU PLAN TO BRING so we can plan accordingly.  You can separatly volunteer in multiple categories!

 The day of the event, you will have two options to drop off your food item:

  • Send it with your student with instructions to leave it in the cafeteria from 7-8am. CLEARLY MARK IT HOLIDAY BUFFET.
  • Drop it off in the Forest Street circle between 8:30-11am and a volunteer will greet you at the door to receive your food item. 

Disposable dishes preferred, but CROCK POTS WELCOME.  Please mark your name clearly on all parts  of the crockpot--pot, lid, heating element, and any serving utensils.

Examples of food items we have had in the past:  Italian Beef, Pasta, BBQ/with Buns, pot stickers, egg rolls, chili, meatballs,mac and cheese, mini quiche, sausage, Sushi or Shrimp plattes, fruit, veggies, cheese/crackers, salads,tortilla rollups,vegetables, finger sandwiches, hummus, dips, pasta salad, just to name a few, and of course DESSERTS.......Ethnic and Family Recipes Very Much Appreciated.

If you are helping the day of the event:

  • Check in at Main Street Entrance and Come to the Library on the 2nd Floor.
